Russian club Terek Grozny have appointed Ruud Gullit as head coach on an 18-month contract.
The Chechen Republic outfit announced on their website today that the 48-year-old former Chelsea, Newcastle and Feyenoord boss, who has been out of management since leaving the Los Angeles Galaxy in August 2008, had agreed an initial one-and-a-half-year contract with the possibility of an extension.
Terek finished 12th in the 16-team Premier Liga last year.
