GALATASARY'S young defender Emre Gungor has received a late call-up to the provisional Turkey squad ahead of Euro 2008.
Turkey coach Fatih Terim announced a 26-man squad on Sunday, which is set to be whittled down to 23 players by May 28.
On Monday it was announced that 23-year old Gungor, who is one of Turkey's top young talents, would be joining the squad to provide cover should his Galatasary team-mate Servet Cetin fail to recover in time from a groin injury.
