SLOVAKIA international Marek Hamsik has pledged his future to Napoli.
The 23-year-old midfielder has signed a three-year contract extension which will see him remain with the Serie A outfit until June 2015.
"I am delighted with this contract renewal," said Hamsik on the club's official website, www.sscnapoli.it.
"I always said that I feel really good in Naples, it's a city that I love. I have a good relationship with the club, we have an important project and all of us want to achieve big aims."
Hamsik joined Napoli in the summer of 2007 from Brescia and was pivotal in helping them finish sixth in the standings last term.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis could not hide his delight.
"I am very happy that Marek has wanted to tie his future to the colours," he said.
"His renewal is proof that Napoli want to grow alongside our talented players in order to achieve the aims that our fans deserve."
Hamsik had been a reported target of top Premier League clubs this season.
