Hannover have sacked coach Andreas Bergmann after a run of poor results saw them drop into the bottom three of the Bundesliga.
The north German club have not won a game since the end of October and last Saturday's 3-0 defeat at home to Hertha Berlin plunged them into the relegation zone.
In a bid to halt their slide, Bergmann was today relieved of his duties just over four months after taking charge.
