After almost a year out of the game since leaving Melbourne Victory to be with his family in the UK because of a sick relative, Kewell has now signed with Melbourne Heart for next season.

And just hours after stepping off the plane home, Kewell travelled to Lakeside Stadium to take the group of aspiring pros through their paces and hopefully leave a lasting legacy to the sport.

“I will be working as a Jeep ambassador, who have plans to support grassroots sport," said Kewell.

"Combining that with my role at Melbourne Heart, I will be in an awesome position to give back to grassroots and do something I’m really passionate about; helping kids achieve their sporting dreams.”

The new deal with Jeep Australia sees the launch of an I HEART HARRY slogan as part of a fun initiative to reignite supporter passion for Kewell in an irreverent way.

The 34-year-old attacker brings impressive international experience to Heart after three Australian World Cup qualifying campaigns and two FIFA World Cups and a long successful career in Europe.

His skill and achievements earned him the tag of  Australia's Greatest Football Player in a vote of Australian fans, players and media at a gala ceremony in Sydney last year.

“Harry’s positive mindset, determination and desire to give back to Australian sport on a grassroots level really struck a chord with us at Jeep," said Mark McCraith, Director of Marketing at the Fiat Chrysler Group.

"We look forward to collaborating and launching our grassroots sports program in 2014 with the help of Harry.”

The brand believes Kewell epitomises Jeep’s advertising slogan “Don’t hold back”, as showcased in their newest television commercial airing this evening on Nine.

The commercial showcases the highs and lows of Kewell’s career and his determination to return to Australia for some unfinished business.
