PORTSMOUTH boss Paul Hart may let the weekend's results guide his selection plans for Monday's Barclays Premier League clash with Sunderland at Fratton Park.
He could rest some senior men if defeats for Hull and Newcastle tomorrow guarantee Portsmouth's top-flight safety.
Defender Younes Kaboul was substituted in last Saturday's defeat at Blackburn after missing three games with a thigh injury, while striker Peter Crouch has started all 46 games this season and could benefit from a rest - or at least a front-line partner in veteran Kanu.
Noe Pamarot is available again after suspension while on-loan Armand Traore has recovered from a groin problem and could make his first appearance since Hart took charge in February.
Provisional squad: James, Johnson, Kaboul, Campbell, Distin, Hreidarsson, Pennant, Mullins, Hughes, Nugent, Crouch, Utaka, Basinas, Pamarot, Belhadj, Kanu, Traore, Cranie, Primus, Begovic, Ashdown.
