Henrique was sent off midway through the second half of the Roar's 3-0 win over Perth on Saturday night for an incident with Glory captain Jacob Burns.

The MRP decided Henrique was guilty of 'Assault on a Player' and gave him an additional match on top of the mandatory one-game suspension.

The A-League Disciplinary Regulations mean the club is unable to appeal the decision.

The Roar released a statement on Monday afternoon saying they accept the ban and consider the matter now closed and will make no further comment.

It means Henrique won't play again for the Roar until the penultimate round of the A-League regular season but he will play in the club's opening AFC Champions League fixture against FC Tokyo on March 6.
