'The Slippery Fish' has failed to settle in at any of his recent clubs, lulling through unsuccessful stints at Malay Super League side Negeri Sembilan, Thai League T1 sides Chiangrai United and Jumpasri United, and Iranian side Gostaresh Foulad.

He also played briefly for Adelaide United, scoring three goals in 13 appearances. He says leaving Brisbane was a mistake, that he wishes to rectify.

“I want to move my family here and stay here now,” the 32-year-old told Foxsports.

“About the choice, the timing … maybe it wasn’t the best time for me to leave.

“I’m waiting for some offers … I’d rather stay here in Brisbane. I’ve got big feelings (for the fans).”

“I just need to train … I’m still young, I can do a lot of things still. If I could change a little bit, I would change a few things, but it’s all experience."
