A look at round seven of the A-League, with Wellington getting their first win, goalscoring records being set and pressure ramping up on some big-name coaches.
THEY SAID IT - "Is this a serious question? Serious question? F***'s sake," Wanderers coach Markus Babbel's reaction to being asked about a controversial penalty decision in favour of Melbourne City.
βFor fucks sake. No comment.β

MEN OF THE ROUND - Adelaide's Riley McGree and Melbourne City's Jamie Maclaren. McGree scored a double and was impressive in the win over Victory after a turbulent week in which he was suspended from international football. Maclaren also bagged a brace and became the first player to score two or more goals in four-successive A-League games.
STAT ATTACK - Perth's Uruguayan striker Bruno Fornaroli became the fastest man in A-League history to score 50 goals, bringing up the landmark in 76 games, three quicker than Shane Smeltz and Besart Berisha.
TALKING POINT - Adelaide emerging as a genuine threat to early season pacesetters Melbourne City and Sydney FC. United have won four in a row after a one-goal loss to both those clubs, Riley McGree's international ban might work in their favour if he stays fit and in form, as he won't be lost to the Olyroos for January's AFC U-23 Championship.
UNDER PRESSURE - Glory coach Tony Popovic. Saturday's home loss to Sydney means the 2018-19 Premiers Plate winners have won just one of their first six and have picked up only one point in three games against visiting teams.
BRAIN FADE MOMENT - What the heck was going through Perth talisman Diego Castro's mind when he tugged Milos Ninkovic's shirt to gift Sydney FC a penalty?
WHAT'S NEXT? - Melbourne Victory host Perth in a game both glamour clubs badly need to win. Western United return home for their first game against defending champions Sydney FC, who can go top as leaders Melbourne City have the bye. Newcastle and Western Sydney clash at McDonald Jones Stadium, Central Coast visit Brisbane and Wellington head over the Tasman to face in-form Adelaide.

β Arya (@Arya48011716) November 22, 2019
That's a disgraceful decision by Chris Beath awarding a penalty to Melbourne City and probably one of the worst calls to give a spot kick you are ever to see in the A League shocking officiating by Beath #ALeague #WSWvMCY.

Match ruined by officials yet again. City had absolutely nothing until their bullshit penalty. Completely turned the game. #WSWvMCY
