Bayern won the friendly in the Chinese capital 6-0 thanks to strikes from Arjen Robben, Claudio Pizarro, Thomas Mueller, Mario Mandzukic, Mario Gomez and an own goal.

"I think that it was a good friendly," Heynckes said.

"Our opponents played very committed and strong. They were very robust in duels.

"In the first half we played outstanding. There were wonderful moves and a lot of enthusiasm. The goals were beautiful, but we failed to score three or four times more.

"At the beginning of the second half it was very difficult because we changed some players but then the boys played well again.

"I have to say that because we have done a lot of training, the guys are tired. So today that was a good friendly for us."

Robben – who impressed during the match – has been linked with a move to Serie A giants AC Milan but denied any knowledge of it when quizzed after the match.

"This is something completely new," Robben said.

"I just signed a new contract. But of course it is always a compliment when such a big club is interested in me. That is nice but I hear it for the first time."
