Former Central Coast Mariners midfielder Tom Hiariej looks set to be joining Eredivisie side FC Emmen.
The 30-year old has been in pre-season with the first division side and last night played the second half in their friendly against Drents Verbond.
The midfielder assisted a goal in the 8-0 victory.
The Dutchman is yet to finalise a deal with the club but head coach Dick Lukkien said to Dagblaad Noorden, "I find him a very interesting player".
Hiariej is familiar with Emmen, having spent ten years at FC Groningen where he played almost 200 matches and was loaned out to FC Emmen in 2013 where he played 12 times.

Following another loan move to SC Cambuur in 2016, Hiariej joined the Mariners the following season under Paul Okon.
Hiariej spent two seasons in yellow and navy, finishing with the wooden spoon twice after making 37 appearances for the club.
Hiariej could make another appearance tomorrow in a friendly against Nieuw Buinen.
