Hiddink's current contract as Russian head coach expires in June, after which he will join the African nation as temporary head coach to oversee their Cup campaign.

If reports are correct, it will be a short-lived stay for the Dutchman as he is set to take the reins at Turkey for two years beginning from August 2010.

Vahid Halilhodzic was fired as Ivory Coast coach last week after his team failed to reach the semi-finals of the African Nations Cup earlier this year.

Hiddink is highly sought-after in the international arena following successful stints with Holland, South Korea and Australia.
