"When he (Ignashevich) had called us a few days ago, saying he would be late because of traffic, we simply advised him to leave home earlier," said Hiddink.

"But apparently he didn't listen as he arrived late anyway. Our conversation was very short, I just told him to take a rest from the national team.

"I'll consider his future later."
