ARSENAL completed an incredible comeback as they recovered from a two-goal deficit to thrash north London rivals 5-2 at the Emirates Stadium.
Spurs had looked set for victory after Louis Saha's deflected fourth-minute goal and Emmanuel Adebayor's penalty 11 minutes before half-time.
But the Gunners stormed back to level before the break as Bacary Sagna headed in before a superb curling shot from Robin van Persie.
Tomas Rosicky completed the turnaround early in the second half before a double from Theo Walcott sent Arsenal fourth, above Chelsea on goal difference.
Spurs' misery was completed by a late red card for Scott Parker for a second bookable offence.
Ryan Giggs marked his 900th appearance for Manchester United with a stoppage-time winner as valiant Norwich were beaten 2-1 at Carrow Road.
Paul Scholes had given the visitors an early lead with a close-range header. The Canaries rallied and forced David de Gea into a string of fine saves before the United number one was finally beaten with seven minutes left when Grant Holt fired home from 12 yards.
United, though, poured forwards in the closing stages and were eventually rewarded when Giggs stabbed home from close range to put the Red Devils back within two points of leaders Manchester City.
Stoke brought a four-match losing run in the league to an end as first-half goals from Matthew Upson and Peter Crouch earned them a comfortable 2-0 victory over Swansea.
Potters boss Tony Pulis made 11 changes from the side knocked out of the Europa League by Valencia in midweek and he got the result he was looking for, with Upson heading in his first goal for the club in the 24th minute before Crouch followed suit from another set-piece 15 minutes later.
