Juventus remain hopeful of signing Real Madrid's Gonzalo Higuain, despite reports that the striker is on his way to Arsenal.
The Serie A outfit's general director Giuseppe Marotta insisted that the Argentinian is still up for grabs and that Juventus are very much interested in securing his services.
Arsenal appeared to have pushed themselves to the front of the queue as speculation mounted on Friday that the 25-year-old had agreed a deal with the Premier League club.
However, Marotta hinted that there could still be an opportunity for Juventus to bring the former River Plate forward to Turin
He told Sky Sport Italia: "Higuain? I do not want to say anything because there is still so much time left for things to happen."
The Italian champions are in the market for a player who can boost their attacking options, with moves for Fiorentina's Stevan Jovetic and Manchester City's Carlos Tevez also reportedly in the pipeline.
But Marotta revealed that no deals are imminent.
"There is no hurry," he added. "They are both great players but they are also with great clubs, so it would not be right to discuss them.
"I do not want to create an illusion that things are already in motion."
