BARCELONA winger Alexander Hleb insists he has no regrets about moving to the Nou Camp but admits he is not playing as well as he did at Arsenal.
Hleb left the Gunners last summer after three seasons in north London but has failed to establish himself as a regular in the Barca side.
The Belarus international has been moved out of his preferred position as an attacking midfielder to the right wing and he has had somewhat of a problem adjusting.
"The system at Barca is a bit different and I would like to play as I did at Arsenal," said Hleb. "What's certain is that I'm not doing as well as I did there.
"It's difficult to explain but it's also taken me a lot to learn Spanish.
"It hasn't been easy to adapt here. I'm in a team in which practically all the players can be in the starting XI and it's difficult to get playing time.
"This is a new situation for me which I have to learn from.
"What I have to do is work, continue training so that when the team needs me I can give the best of myself."
Reports suggest Hleb is considering moving back to Germany, where he spent five years at Stuttgart, while a possible return to Arsenal has also been mooted.
However, the 27-year-old insists he is not planning on leaving the Nou Camp.
"I don't regret signing," he said. "Barca are one of the greatest clubs in the world, they give me the possibility to win trophies and learn from this experience every day.
"It's certain that this is a new situation for me but now I am focused on giving everything in training so I can have more opportunities."
Hleb could face his former team in the Champions League quarter-finals, with other possible opponents being Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea Bayern Munich, Villarreal or Porto.
And he admits he would rather avoid the English sides when the draw is made tomorrow.
"It's going to be difficult because there's Manchester United, Liverpool, Bayern.....," added Hleb. "We could get any of them and we have to concentrate on ourselves so that it will also be difficult for them.
"The most complicated will be to have to face one of the four English teams.
"But they are all good and we will need our maximum concentration."
