AZ ALKMAAR'S out-of-favour Australia international midfielder James Holland is set for a trial with Austria Vienna.
The 22-year-old, who moved to Alkmaar on a four-and-a-half-year deal in January 2009, has struggled to break into the AZ first-team since moving to the Netherlands.
The former Young Socceroos skipper has already left an AZ winter break training camp in order to trial with the Austrian club according to Voetbal International.
AZ boss Gertjan Verbeek is understood to be happy to let the ex-Newcastle Jets man go as he's not in his plans.
Austria Vienna were in the same group as AZ in the Europa League, finishing third behind the Dutch club on goal difference.
Holland, who has five Socceroos caps, spent time on loan at Sparta Rotterdam in the second-half of the 2010-11 season, making 14 appearances and scoring two goals.
