Rafael van der Vaart will miss Holland's friendly with Germany on Tuesday after suffering a hamstring injury in last night's goalless draw with Switzerland.
The Tottenham midfielder limped off in the 66th minute of the clash in Amsterdam and was replaced by Kevin Strootman.
He has been ruled out of the clash with Germany in Hamburg but Oranje boss Bert van Marwijk is confident the former Real Madrid man has not sustained any long-term damage.
"It is probably a mild sprain," said Van Marwijk, "but the game against Germany will come too early."
