Queens Park Rangers manager Ian Holloway believes Massimo Luongo is the best midfielder in the Championship.
Luongo was best on ground as QPR sealed a 2-2 draw at home to Millwall on Tuesday night.
QPR were down 2-0 before the Socceroos midfielder pulled one back in the 73rd minute, with Matt Smith finding a late equaliser.
Luongo's goal was his first since March in a 5-1 home win over Rotherham United.
Holloway was full of praise for the 24-year-old following the fightback against James Meredith's Millwall.
“That’s the icing on the cake,” he said of Luongo's goal.
“If he starts doing that then, wow, what a player we’ve got on our hands!
“The kid’s getting better and better. I’m delighted for him. If there’s a better midfielder in the league at the moment then I’d like to see him.”
