SOCCEROO Brett Holman was on target as Eredivisie champions AZ Alkmaar lifted the Dutch Supercup after an emphatic 5-1 victory over Heerenveen.
AZ wasted little time stamping their authority on proceedings and took the lead 15 minutes in through Holman.
Mounir El Hamdaoui doubled the lead 10 minutes later and Maarten Martens ensured the game was all but over at half-time with AZ's third after 28 minutes.
Michal Papadopulos gave Heerenveen brief hope by pulling a goal back five minutes after the break but a brace from Jeremain Lens (67, 87) made sure the league champions began the new season in the best possible fashion.
