Japanese superstar Keisuke Honda dedicated the Big Blue win "to our supporters" as Melbourne Victory inflicted Sydney FC's first loss of the season.
Victory continue to build a head of steam notching their third straight win and fourth win on the road. And it was the team's big name imports who did the damage in the 2-1 result.
Playing at a packed Jubilee Stadium in Kogarah, Honda and Ola Toivonen resurrected memories of last season's semi final when Kevin Muscat's men bundled the Sky Blues out of the Championship race.

Toivonen on his first start for Victory opened his account in the 23rd minute, becoming the first Swede to score in the A-League.
Sydney fired back on 35 minutes after a contentious spot kick decision when Adam Le Fondre equalised for the home side off a penalty rebound to level the scores going into the break.

But it was Victory's go to man, Honda, who ensured the visitors left with the points.
The Champions soaked up the pressure before their marquee was crudely felled by Jop van der Linden in the box. Honda stepped up to the spot and coolly guided home the winner on 71 minutes.

The World Cup veteran told Fox Sports both teams put it all on the line.
"As you know this is a very important game for us and for them," he said.
"I think they also deserve to get three points but finally, luckily, with that penalty I could score.
"So I am satisfied for the team, Iām proud of my teammates ā this victory I want to give to our supporters."
