The club hope to make the right-sided player their second signing of the off-season, after they confirmed the full transfer of George Boyd from Peterborough United on Tuesday.

The Egypt international was part of the side that clinched promotion to the Premier League after a dramatic 2-2 draw against Cardiff City on the last day of the Championship season.
But with the player currently away with his national side, and reported interest from other Premier League sides, there are no guarantees he will join Steve Bruce's side.
"We're in the process of negotiating a deal," Hull's managing director Nick Thompson told The Hull Daily Mail.

"We know where we stand with Sunderland on the price and now it's a case of agreeing a deal with the player and his agent.
"When it comes to a contract, Premier League expectations from players sometimes will not match up with our expectations. It's a case of talking and coming to a point where you can agree a reasonable position."
Meanwhile, team-mate James Chester's future at the club is in doubt as he has still to sign a new contract at the KC Stadium.
The centre-back was an integral part of City's promotion winning side, and is about to enter the final 12 months of his contract, with Newcastle and Aston Villa reportedly interested in his services.
"We're talking with James' agent and the offer we've put forward is one we feel is good and appropriate," Thompson added.
"It's a tough negotiation because we have some gap between where the parties are. There's a disparity between where we think the right figure is and the expectations of the player's agent.
"I'd certainly like to think it's something we can resolve. James was virtually an ever-present for us last season and a very important part of our team.
"If you get into the final year and you can't agree on anything then you're going to make other clubs aware of the situation."
