Irvine has been in demand for months after starring for the Brewers last season. The Australian made a sensational debut in the Championship after arriving from Scottish side Ross County, helping Burton avoid the drop.
It is understood Hull have prepared a £2.5 million offer for Irvine.
Andy Garner explains: “Jackson is talking to another club and that’s why he’s not in the line-up today.”

The Tigers were relegated from the Premier League last season.
Irvine, who debuted for Australia in 2013, first moved to Europe with Celtic a decade ago. The 24-year old has won 13 caps for the Socceroos.
