Nine year old Taylor Kewell already idolises his dad but now wants to go down the same road as his him and take up a career as a professional footballer.

And if he has even a fraction of his dad's skill running through his genes, young Taylor could prove to be another Socceroo legend in the making.

But she also revealed there is a chance the family may be re-united again next year.

For the last two years Kewell, 32, has been playing for Galatasaray in Turkey while she stays in their Cheshire home in the UK with three children, Taylor, Ruby, seven and Matilda, two.

"It's unbelievable," revealed Sheree. "We can't go shopping because the paparazzi follow him and he gets stopped for autographs or people wanting to hug and kiss him.

"They call him the Wizard of Oz and like his family values and work ethic."

He is currently on a one year deal that expires at the end of this season and his future remains uncertain, with speculation about a possible move to the USA or Spain and overtures to him from A-League clubs.

But his wife is more concerned about getting her family back together again though.

They have only been able to get together during the off-season and on flying visits Kewell is able to make between matches. On weeknights, he uses Skype to read bedtime stories to the kids.

"Maybe next year Harry will be back home full-time," she told the Daily Mirror in the UK. Youngest daughter Matilda has never had her dad around all the time since she was born.

"Poor little thing!" admitted Sheree. "But this is just a blip in their lives and they probably won't remember it much when they're older.

"Sometimes I feel like a single mum and it can get me down. I feel like I'm doing all the disciplining but they're good kids and it's as hard for them to not have Dad around."

The couple have been together for 10 years and Sheree says she trusts her husband not to stray despite the opportunities for him living so far from home.

"I'd be naive to think it would never happen to me and vice versa with Harry," she said. "But we're on the same page. He has trust in me and we have similar goals.

"If I had any doubts about him, he wouldn't be playing in Turkey or I'd be there with him. I doubt he'd throw it all away but you never know!

She added: "We communicate. When he writes me a birthday card, he'll fill the whole card with words about why he loves me.

" I always say Harry is like a fine wine - he's got better with age. He's got better looking, has amazing manners and is very romantic.

"I'm very happily married."
