Iain Ramsay's Ceres-Negros defeated Home United on Wednesday to become AFC Cup ASEAN Champions.
The Filipino club came from 2-1 down after the first leg to seal a 3-2 aggregate victory at Panaad Stadium over their Singaporean counterparts.
Former Melbourne City and Adelaide United winger Ramsay played 90 minutes in both ties, while Australian-born defender Joshua Grommen was on the bench.
Victory in the ASEAN Zone Final means Ceres Negro go on to face Tajikistan-based outfit Istiklol in the Inter-zone play-off semi-finals.
A win across two legs there will see them advance to the Inter-zone final, where victory in another two-legged tie means they go through to the Asian Cup Final against either Al-Wahda of Syria or Al-Quqa Al-Jawiya of Iraq.
