Fringe Socceroo Bernie Ibini has been signed by K-League side Jeonbuk Hyundai after a year wth Emirates club in the UAE.
The former Central Coast Mariner and Sydney FC winger was tipped as a Socceroos regular until he signed with Club Brugge and broke his leg badly in his first pre-season training in Belgium.
Ibini, 26, eventually returned on a second loan stint with Sydney FC before signing for Canadian MLS side Vancouver Whitecaps in 2017 and then moving to the UAE the following year.
He has two caps at senior level, making his debut in 2014 in a warm up friendly against the UAE prior to the 2015 Asian Cup.
Since then though, he has slipped under the national team radar following his leg injury, but the Korean move could put him back in the frame.
