Zlatan Ibrahimovic set a new personal record with two strikes in Inter Milan's 3-0 win over Reggina yesterday and he has no intention of taking his foot off the pedal.
The Swedish forward increased his season tally in Serie A to 19 goals as Inter took another step towards claiming a fourth straight Scudetto.
"It's the first time that I've reached the 19-goal mark," said Ibrahimovic. "There are a lot of games left to play and I want to score a lot more goals and see where I end up."
Sunday's result left leaders Inter seven points clear of Juventus in the standings with only nine games remaining.
Ibrahimovic's form in Serie A contrasts sharply with his performances in the Champions League.
He notched just one goal in eight appearances this year in Europe and crucially failed to score in his team's last 16 tie against Manchester United.
The 27-year-old has heard plenty of criticism from the Nerazzurri fans because of the Champions League disappointment.
"It doesn't bother me," said Ibrahimovic. "Quite the opposite, it stimulates me to do better.
"It's not a problem. I try to do my job in the Champions League.
"But in Europe it's another level. You play against foreigners who play a different style of football than the Italian one."
Ibrahimovic is under contract with the Nerazzurri until 2013.
There is speculation that he may not stay that long, with reports linking Ibrahimovic with a move to Real Madrid.
"For the time being I am very focused on winning the Scudetto," he said. "But next year we shall see.
"I am happy here but we will have to wait and see."
Inter coach Jose Mourinho is confident Ibrahimovic will remain at the club next season.
Mourinho said: "I have a fantastic relationship with him. I will speak to him and convince him to remain with us.
"I see him very determined to win the scudetto and finish as Serie A's top scorer this season.
"He is only disappointed with the (Champions League) elimination at the hands of Manchester United.
"He is playing better than before and I believe his comments have been somewhat misinterpreted."
