Chris Ikonomidis says Western Sydney Wanderers need to be more lethal in front of goal following a 1-1 draw with Perth Glory at Spotless Stadium on Sunday.
Ikonomidis picked up his second Man of the Match award in a month but was more concerned that Wanderers failed to take all three points.
"It was an entertaining game," the fringe Socceroo told Fox Sports.
"We were disappointed not to get the result, especially in the last 20-25 minutes, we really pushed them.
"But yeah, we’ll go back to the training board and we’ll train up for next week."
Djulbic was Reddy for keeper cameo
Mark Bridge opened the scoring for Wanderers on 10 minutes before Xavi Torres equalised from the penalty spot three minutes later.
It was a nervy finish for the visitors who were reduced to 10 in the 87th minute when goalkeeper Liam Reddy was sent-off for bringing down Jaushua Sotirio on the edge of the box.
The result keeps Wanderers in sixth and ensures rivals for a finals spot, Glory, remain four points adrift. But the attacker said that was small comfort.
"(It's) more disappointment I guess because we’re going for the win every weekend," he said. "We’ve got the quality, we’ve got the players and we want the three points.
"We need to score more goals – that’s the end thing.
"We’ll go away and we’ll look at what we did wrong and what we did right and we’ll work hard for next week."
The 22-year-old has played six times for the national team but insists he's not focused on next week when Bert van Marwijk names his preliminary squad for the upcoming World Cup warm-ups against Norway and Colombia.
"I just focus on my football with my club and obviously if that goes well everything else goes well," he said.
