Veteran Brisbane Roar defender Jade North has been ruled out of Sunday's semi-final against Melbourne Victory due to illness on the morning of the game.
North, 35, has been battling illness all week and has now been replaced in Brisbane's 18-man squad by Cameron Crestani.
The news is a blow for Roar, who rested the majority of their first-team side for the midweek AFC Champions League defeat to Muang Thong United.
North was squeezed to right-back in last week's elimination final win over Western Sydney Wanderers, with Avraam Papadopoulos and Luke DeVere deployed in central defence.
Play begins in Sunday's semi-final at AAMI Park at 5pm local time.
