Defender Taylor Regan is enjoying his time playing in Malayasia but is open to a return to the A-League next year.
Malaysia has been on lockdown and football stopped since mid-March because of coronavirus.
There has been speculation the season there could restart in late July or early August, but Regan believes t's unlikely the Malaysian Super League and the country's two cup competitions will all finish.
"There's no chance all three competitions can be completed, I believe," the 31-year-old said.
"One of the cups will go. We're still hopeful we can get back on the pitch some time in 2020, but realistically, health is more important. Since March, 18 there have been pretty heavy restrictions about social distancing.
"There couldn't be any more than one person in a car at any time. You could only go to essential places like the hospital, a pharmacy or grocery store. I've left my apartment building twice since it all started.
"The first time was because my son fell onto the table and required seven stitches in his head. The second time was to get the stitches out."
Regan has been using the car park in his building's basement as a running track to try to stay fit.
"I've been running in the basement car park, four times a week," he said.
"It's 70 metres from one end to the other. I do 80 laps of it, which equals 5.6 kilometres. I do that four to five times a week, and I've got a gym equipment here that I use inside to maintain the strength."
