Lyon were back to their dominant best as they brushed aside Nancy to move 16 points clear at the top of French Ligue 1 this morning.
Although they have continued to move towards a sixth straight league title without much difficulty, Lyon have been a little out of form by their own high standards since Christmas.
But there was little sign of that as they dispatched their hosts 3-0 with goals from Milan Baros (35), Kim Kallstrom (76) and Fred (80).
Nancy meanwhile are still not guaranteed their top-flight status and drop to 14th, just seven points off the danger zone.
Elsewhere, Sedan inched closer to their relegation rivals by taking a potentially priceless point off high-flying Bordeaux, who climbed a place to third despite the 1-1 draw.
Lille dropped to fourth after Le Mans put a heavy dent in their Champions League qualification ambitions with a 2-0 victory at the Stade Metropole.
Ismael Bangoura (69) opened the scoring for the hosts midway through the second half, before Grafite (90) rounded off the victory in the final minute.
