Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta has dismissed suggestions that a squad overhaul is required at the end of the season.
Tito Vilanova's men have all but secured the Liga title having carved out an 11-point lead at the top, but were humbled by Bayern Munich in the sides' UEFA Champions League semi-final, suffering a 7-0 aggregate defeat.
That result led to calls for an influx of new players when the transfer window reopens, but Iniesta believes that the foundations for success are already in place.
"When the players talk about needing changes, we are referring to things that would change the team for the better," he said.
"I'm sure the core of the team is capable of competing and winning. We shouldn't go crazy with the changes next year."
The Catalan club battled to a 4-2 win over Real Betis on Sunday and need just a point from their upcoming clash with Atletico Madrid to secure a 22nd league title.
And Iniesta is hopeful that domestic success can inspire his team-mates to further glory next term.
He said: "It would be a good season if we win the league title. We'll try to win it again next season. God willing we'll be champions soon. There aren't words to describe the value of a title like this.
"If the team suffers, the fans do as well, and vice versa. When we win titles it isn't just for us, it's also for the fans."
