Ivory Coast international Toure lasted just 26 minutes of the clash at the Nou Camp before being replaced by Seydou Keita, while Spain ace Iniesta limped off on the hour-mark with Eidur Gudjohnsen taking his place.

Both players, who had been set to join up with their respective countries for World Cup qualifiers in the coming days, are now set to be out of action for around 15 days according to the Primera Liga leaders.

European champions Spain have a double-header against Turkey on March 28 and April 1 while the Ivory Coast meet Malawi on March 29.

Another Barca midfielder Xavi was also unable to finish tonight's match due to an Achilles problem, but he is still set to link up with the Spain squad this week.
