Western Sydney are sweating on the fitness of captain Mark Bridge ahead of Saturday's crucial clash away to Melbourne Victory.
Sixth-placed Wanderers' finals hopes are on the line this weekend, holding a slim one-point buffer over Brisbane Roar and Perth Glory in seventh and eighth.
Bridge, who has netted four goals for Wanderers this term, is battling a quad complaint ahead of the Victory trip.
The 32-year-old forward put in a full shift in last round's 3-0 loss to Melbourne City.
Wanderers boss Josep Gombau said Bridge would likely travel to Melbourne but conceded he has struggled in training this week.
In more positive news, Western Sydney could be boosted by the return of Argentine midfielder Marcelo Carrusca, who hasn't played since early March.
"He's fit, training with the group and I think he can play," Gombau said.
