SYDNEY FC will almost certainly be without Terry McFlynn for this weekend's trip to Gold Coast United with a question mark also hanging over John Aloisi.
Northern Ireland midfielder McFlynn was forced out of the action against Wellington Phoenix at the weekend with a thigh problem while goalscorer Aloisi was substituted with a knee complaint.
Barring a miracle recovery coach Vitezslav Lavicka will have to find a new central partner for Karol Kisel with the club's weekly media bulletin stating McFlynn's expected time on the sidelines to be three to four weeks.
McFlynn's expected absence will open the door of opportunity for another member of the squad with Stuart Musialik likely to come into the frame for the first time.
Aloisi will have a fitness test to assess his availability for Saturday's clash at Skilled Park.
