Ipswich boss Roy Keane enjoys the full backing of his players despite the club's winless start to the season, according to winger Carlos Edwards.
The Tractor Boys are rooted to the foot of the Coca-Cola Championship after a horror start that has yielded just seven points from their opening 13 matches.
Edwards, who also played under Keane at Sunderland, admits Ipswich's run of form is unlike any he had endured during his 10-year career, but believes they can secure a breakthrough win tomorrow when they travel to second-from-bottom Plymouth.
"We are all fully behind Roy Keane. I have never been on a run like this before. It's the first time," said Edwards, who will celebrate his 31st birthday tomorrow.
"The manager asked us this very question in the dressing room after the game. He asked us if anyone of us had suffered such a run in our careers and no-one said 'yes' they had.
"But what more can we do? We keep throwing the kitchen sink at teams. We don't look like a bottom team and we are all sticking together, like we have done all season."
Keane could be without top-scorer Jon Walters after he limped out of the midweek 1-1 draw against Watford with an ankle injury.
The match holds significance for the Pilgrims with the return of Paul Mariner - the former Argyle and Ipswich ace - in his new role as head coach.
Manager Paul Sturrock said: "It's a big game with Paul coming home to Argyle. Obviously we want to put daylight between us and Ipswich. The only way we can do that is by winning the game."
At the other end of the table West Brom will look to maintain their place at the top when they travel to midlands rivals Coventry.
The Baggies have won just once in their past five league games and lost 1-0 at Swansea in midweek.
Newcastle, who are behind West Brom on goal difference, also suffered defeat in midweek when they went down 2-1 at Scunthorpe.
The Magpies have now lost their past two league games and host Doncaster, who ended a seven-game winless run with a 3-1 victory over Peterborough on Tuesday night.
The defeat extended Posh's worrying run to five games without a win and Darren Ferguson's side have slipped into the bottom three ahead of their trip to fellow newly-promoted side Scunthorpe this weekend.
"I'm the manager and I've got to take full responsibility for the results we've had and I do," Ferguson said.
"The players have got to start taking responsibility for the performances as well. But as a group this is nowhere near good enough. We've played 13 games. We've had one win.
"You don't have to be a genius to work that out, it's nowhere near good enough. It's got to change and it's got to change quick, I'm fully aware of that."
Elsewhere, in-form Nottingham Forest take their five-game winning run to Crystal Palace, although they have fitness concerns over Dexter Blackstock (knee) and Nathan Tyson (ankle).
Middlesbrough begin life after Gareth Southgate with a trip to Preston.
Southgate was sacked on Tuesday night despite his team securing a 2-0 win over Derby to leave them a point adrift of the leaders. Colin Cooper takes temporary charge at Deepdale.
Third-placed Cardiff could go top when they travel to Sheffield United, Derby host QPR, Blackpool are at Swansea while Bristol City make the journey north to play Mark Robins' resurgent Barnsley.
