Iranian fans have created a party atmosphere in Kazan in the lead-up to their match against Spain.
Iran won their opening match in group B, prevailing 1-0 over Morocco in Saint Petersburg and now look to upset La Roja at Kazan Arena.
The Iranians have never prevailed past the group stage in their past four appearances, but will now fancy their chances after getting three points.
And with the World Cup alive in Russia, the Iranian fans danced and chanted in Kazan’s famous strip – Bauman Street.
“We may not have the best football team, but we have the best fans,” one Iranian told FourFourTwo in Kazan.
Russia also prevailed 3-1 over Egypt as Bauman Street was pumping post-match with the locals chanting with the Iranians.
The Iranians will face Portugal in their final group game in Saransk.
