Emerging Socceroo Jackson Irvine has scooped the pool at Burton Albion’s awards night by claiming the Player of the Season and Players' Player of the Season.
The 23-year-old midfielder has made 43 appearances in all competitions and scored 10 goals for the Brewers in his first season in the English Championship after his move from Scottish club Ross County.
The former Celtic junior played a key role for Albion as they defied the odds to avoid relegation in their first season in England’s second tier.
Irvine also claimed the club’s Top Goal Scorer Award on a busy night for the Australian.
In March, Irvine made his Socceroos starting debut against Iraq and netted his maiden international goal days later against UAE.
