Fox Sports’ Simon Hill tells FTBL that Adelaide United look to have discovered a sensational new talent for the next A-League season.
Toure migrated to Australia from Guinea with his family when he was four.
He has been banging goals in for fun with the Reds NPL side and has been featuring in friendlies with Gertjan Verbeek’s side during the off-season.
“If Toure gets a chance, and this is the big question mark, he’s certainly one to watch in the new season,” added Hill.
“Many will look at Riley McGree as one of the young players to watch but, and this is the beauty of this time of the season, there are kids who are starting to emerge that you’ve never heard of.
“And all of a sudden they catch your eye and you say, ‘He’s actually a real talent’.
In the Round of 16, Adelaide United will face Olympic FC in Brisbane in what should be a cracking Cup tie at Goodwin Park.
Another talent to catch the eye on the night was Mo Awad for the Knights.
The Kiwi striker looked dangerous all night in a losing side. He could step up to the A-League easily.
