Idan Tal gave the Israelis an early lead and within half an hour of the kick-off they were two goals ahead after Roberto Colautti's header.

Two goals in the last quarter of an hour from substitute Ben Sahar ensured a comprehensive scoreline for the hosts.

Israel forged a chance in the very first minute when Toto Tamuz saw his header saved by Mart Poom.

Israel got the reward for their early pressure after 18 minutes.

It was Tal who opened the scoring with a drilled left-footed finish from inside the area.

The hosts continued to dominate and Yossi Benayoun headed wide.

Estonia managed to construct their first serious attack after 28 minutes when Dmitri Kruglov shot over the bar.

But almost immediately it was 2-0 to Israel as Colautti headed home after connecting with a cross from the right by Amit Ben Shushan with the ball just creeping inside the post.

Tal Ben Haim then headed over as the Israeli dominance continued unabated with Estonia defender Alo Barengrub doing well to block a Tamuz shot.

Estonia'sRagnar Klavan missed with a shot early in the second half but at the other end Colautti's shot whistled past the post.

Ben Haim produced an excellent block to deny Barengrub with the Estonians looking better early in the second period.

However, Israel would have made it 3-0 on the hour mark were it not for a fine save from Poom to deny Tal.

Israel goalkeeper Dudu Aouate then made a fine save from a Tarmo Kink header from a Kruglov corner.

But Sahar made it 3-0 after 77 minutes after connecting with a cross from the left before grabbing another inside two minutes with a right-footed shot from outside the area.

In between Sahar's two goals, Klavan forced a fine save from Aouate.

Sahar was denied his hat-trick by a fine late save from Poom but it had been a commanding Israeli display.
