Former Inter Milan forward Adriano misses life in Italy and still thinks about a return there following an unsuccessful stint in Brazil.
The 30-year-old has struggled to retain his match fitness over the last few years and has also battled with an alcohol problem, something which has lead to him being without a club.
But the ex-Brazil international wishes he could reignite his career in Italy.
"I do think about a return to Italy. The best moments of my life were there," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"I have great memories of Italy. At times I speak with my former Inter team-mates and I also heard from one of my former coaches the other day.
"I have nostalgia for the food, the people and the fans. I will never forget my time there."
The striker also confirmed the Nerazzurri hold a special place in his heart and he still follows their progress.
He added: "They are part of my life. I watch them on television when I get the chance; I saw their win over Palermo recently."
Adriano also spent time with Fiorentina, Parma and Roma whilst playing in Italy and also scored 27 goals in 48 appearances for his country.
