Jade North has re-signed with the Newcastle Jets, it was confirmed today.
North has been under speculation in recent months to move away from Newcastle, and has been seen training with Branko Culina's Sydney FC.
The Jets have offered North a two-year deal and Jets CEO George Liolio was relieved to have the situation resolved.
“We are very excited to confirm Jade’s future with the Newcastle Jets. Both sides are very happy with the agreement reached and we look forward to the next chapter of Jade’s career with us,” he said.
“Not only is Jade a massive asset to the squad, he is also very popular with Jets supporters and the community as a whole.”
