The Newcastle Jet has been mulling over his future since returning from international duty against China last month.

North is a former player with Brisbane Strikers in the old NSL and was one of the keys to Newcastle's run to the A-League finals last season.

Jets coach Gary Van Egmond recently told www.au.fourfourtwo.com that he wasn't interested in players who didn't want to be at the club.
