AUSSIES ABROAD: Socceroo Mile Jedinak returned from injury overnight - just in time for the Asian Cup - as Genclerbirligi drew 1-1 with Ankaragucu in the Turkish Kupasi.
Jedinak had not played since November 20 when he sustained the injury in a Super Lig game against Kasimpasa but returned to the Genclerbirligi starting line-up for Wednesday's Group C match.
The Socceroo's return means he should be fit and available for Australia's 2011 Asian Cup campaign which begins in a little over two weeks.
Jedinak played 59 minutes of Wednesday's clash, picking up a yellow card, before being replaced.
Elsewhere, Harry Kewell and Lucas Neill both put in a full shifts as Galatasaray drew 1-1 at Gaziantepspor to retain top spot in Group A.
Meanwhile, Ersan Gulum played a full game as Besiktas defeated Konya Sekerspor 3-2 in Group B.
In Holland's KNVB Beker, Aussie trio Tommy Oar, Adam Sarota and Michael Zullo did not play as FC Utrecht progressed with a 1-0 win over FC Volendam.
In India's I-League, Tolgay Ozbey scored his fourth goal of the season with the winner in top-of-the-table East Bengal's 1-0 victory over Salgaocar.
