AUSSIES ABROAD: Mile Jedinak pushed his case for a Socceroos spot with two assists in Antalyaspor's 2-1 win over Galatasaray in Turkey's Super Lig on Saturday.
Galatasaray, who were without Harry Kewell who has re-injured his groin injury, went ahead twenty minutes into the second-half when Antalyaspor's Yalcin Ayhan put the ball in his own net.
But Antalyaspor responded almost immediately, with Jedinak working a nice one-two in midfield before setting up Sidney Tita for the equalizer.
Then in injury-time Jedinak's looping header provided the assist for Veysel Cihan to nod home from close-range and clinch a surprise win for midtable Antalyaspor.
Also for Galatasaray, Lucas Neill played a full game.
In Italy's Serie B, Carl Valeri started and played 53 minutes as Sassuolo lost 3-2 at home to Torino.
The result is a blow for Sassuolo's promotion hopes as they slide into fourth.
In England's League One, Aussie pair Neil Kilkenny and Shane Lowry both played as Leeds United secured promotion to the Championship with a 2-1 win over Bristol Rovers.
Kilkenny played a full game in midfield, while Lowry started but was replaced on 54 minutes in the victory.
Elsewhere in League One, Gareth Edds put in a full shift as Tranmere won 3-0 at Stockport to secure their status in the third tier, while Dean Heffernan wasn't involved as Huddersfield lost 2-1 at Exeter.
In Scotland's Premier League, James Wesolowski scored a late winner for Hamilton Accies, as they won 3-2 at St Johnstone.
Wesolowski, who put in a full shift, tapped in Dougie Imrie's 84th minute cross. Fellow Aussie Trent McClenahan also played the full game.
Elsewhere, Danny Invincibile's Kilmarnock survived a final day relegation battle drawing 0-0 with bottom-club Falkirk. Invincibile started up front but was replaced on 46 minutes.
In Scotland's First Division playoffs, Simon Storey's Airdrie United were relegated after a 3-1 aggregate loss to Brechin. Storey, who will join North Queensland Fury next season, played 72 minutes in the 1-0 defeat.
In Croatia's Prva HNL, former Socceroo Josip Skoko wasn't in the Hajduk Split side which defeated NK Medimurje 4-1.
In Turkey's Lig A, Ersan Gulum's Adanaspor narrowly missed out on automatic promotion after a 3-1 win over champions Karabukspor. Gulum, who put in a full shift in the win, will have to help his side gain promotion via the playoffs.
In Germany's 3rd Liga, Milan Susak played a full game as SpVgg Unterhaching finished the season in eleventh as they won 4-3 against Wehen Wiesbaden.
In Japan's J.League, Eddy Bosnar was absent as his table topping Shimizu S-Pulse lost 2-0 at home to Albirex Niigata.
Elsewhere in Japan, Matthew Spiranovic was an unused sub as Urawa Reds lost 3-2 at home to Yokohama F. Marinos.
In Korea's K-League, Sasa Ognenovski put in a full shift as Seongnam Ilhwa thrashed Chunnam Dragons 4-0. Seongnam are third, three points behind leaders Ulsan Horang.
In China's Super League, World Cup hopeful Chris Coyne had to be replaced after half an hour after picking up a head injury as Liaoning Whowin drew 2-2 at Shanghai Shenhua.
In USA's MLS, Danny Allsopp started and played 64 minutes as DC United lost 1-0 at FC Dallas.
