The 26-year-old moved to Austria off a strong season with Adelaide United back in 2015/16 season.

His time overseas saw him cement a first-team spot at the Austrian club, playing a total of 73 games from midfield for the side who finished second in the league this year.

He also most recently led his side to a cup success winning the ÖFB-Cup for the first time since 2010.

Jeggo clearly sees his footballing path pulling him elsewhere.

“After an unbelievable two and a half years in Graz I’ve decided to leave the club,” Jeggo wrote on Instagram.

"It’s one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make and one I did not make lightly. I will never forget the time I had here and the memories we made.

“I want to thank not just the fans but the whole Sturm family.”

——————————————————————————— After an unbelievable 2 and a half years in Graz I’ve decided to leave the club. Suitors from Australia and abroad will no doubt be circling the Australian but it is unclear whether he sees his footballing future in Europe or back home.

Jeggo was also a fringe player amongst Ange Postecoglou’s Australia side during qualifying for the 2018 World Cup but remains uncapped.

On the back of his impressive form for Sturm Graz, he was a part of the squad which saw the Socceroos clinch a spot in Russia against Honduras.
