Jimmy Jeggo’s Sturm Graz are back on course for Europe after holding off St. Polten in an entertaining 3-2 win in the Austrian Bundesliga.
Leading 2-0 inside a spectacular first five minutes, Sturm needed a third just before the hour to stave off the visitors’ fightback.
Jeggo played the full 90 minutes in a win which moves his side back into third and ends a two-game losing run.
While leaders Red Bull Salzburg are out of sight, finishing second or third guarantees a Europa League qualification berth.

A former A-League Young Footballer of the Year, Jeggo has racked up more minutes than ever before the season with the Vienna-born midfielder firmly establishing his place in the starting team.
The 25-year-old has four matches still to play before the season wraps up later this month.
He will hope to impress Socceroos boss Ange Postecoglou after being forced to withdraw from national team duty because of injury in March.
