Two goals from former Suwon star Bae Ki-jong helped to inflict a first defeat for coach Yoon Sung-hyo as Suwon prepare for their Asian Champions League quarter-final first leg against Seongnam Ilhwa on Wednesday.

Bae broke the deadlock seven minutes before the break before grabbing a second nine minutes after the restart. The visitors broke from a Suwon corner and the ball was threaded through to the striker who, once again, made no mistake.

Kim Eun-jung sealed the win in the last minute.

FC Seoul stay second, a point behind the leaders, after a 4-0 demolition of Daegu FC.

All the goals came in the second half courtesy of Choi Tae-wook, Dejan Damjanovic, Jung Jo-gook and Lee Sung-ryeol.

Ulsan Horangi moved above Suwon and back into the play-off spots with a 1-0 win at Gyeongnam FC, Colombian striker Carmelo Valencia netting in the first half.

Elsewhere, Daejeon Citizen climbed off the bottom above Daegu with a 2-0 win over Busan I'Park.
