Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas has joined Nottingham Forest on a one-month loan deal.
The 29-year-old, who left the City Ground for Newcastle United in 2002, spent last season on loan at Aston Villa, but managed just three appearances before rupturing his Achilles and spent the next six months on the sidelines.
Jenas made his return for Spurs as a substitute against West Bromwich Albion in August, but has not featured since and now hopes the loan spell will help aid his return to match fitness.
Jenas will be available to Sean O'Driscoll for selection against Derby County on Sunday.
