The Blackpool winger has long been touted for a move to the Premier League and was strongly linked with Liverpool in the January transfer window.

Swansea's rivals Cardiff City look favourites to land the England Under-21 international in a reported £8million deal, but Jenkins said that the price quoted for Ince was "staggering".

"Our manager has been keen on Tom Ince for a while, ever since he played for Blackpool against us," he told TalkSPORT.

"The prices that have been quoted for Tom Ince are staggering though.

"There's no doubt he's going to get a move this summer, but I'm not sure where he'll end up going."

The 21-year-old was a stand-out performer for the Championship side last season, contributing 18 goals in 44 appearances.

His father Paul is in charge at Bloomfield Road and the former England midfielder recently revealed that he was conflicted over the situation.

"It's a tricky one for me because obviously you want your son to be playing in the Premier League but you also want him to be playing with you," he told Tangerine TV.
